Op-Ed by the founder of DRISP for Vedomosti
India is interested in actively supplying its products to Russia. Firstly, because it sees Russia as a strategic partner, and secondly, because, in principle, it needs to correct its own negative balance in international trade, which negatively affects the value of the rupee and its role in the global economy.
The official, who requested anonymity, said Moscow has provided financial support to Indian companies looking to set up factories in Russia and is seeking to increase India's drug exports to meet domestic demand. Last week, an Indian delegation led by Pharmexcil director Uday Bhaskar attended the St. Petersburg Economic Forum to explore cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector and discussed drug safety and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises.
"The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) is ready to provide funding to Indian companies that want to work with local companies and engage in research and development. In the latest case, Cadila Pharma has signed a contract with RFID and is working to set up a local manufacturing base in Russia. Nearly 20 Indian companies have had some form of contact with Russian companies, and half of the small and medium-sized enterprises have reached an advanced stage of negotiations," the official added.

Main subject matter of the webinar was covered by representatives of a key Russian medical consultancy “Medical Innovations” Ekaterina Viktorinova and Elizaveta Dyakova. In their opening remarks they also mentioned that both countries have worked together constructively in many fields and medical devices sector could potentially repeat the same success story as the overall trade volumes between India and Russia grow.

DRISP Founder's expert opinion for RB.ru
An excerpt from the article on rb.ru
Working with India in any form is a quest. Despite the attractiveness of the direction, there are a number of nuances that confuse the pioneers. Special economic zones operate here, and there are their own bureaucratic specifics. All this complicates the process of creating joint ventures.
Government programs such as Make in India simplify trade interaction with India. Exports to India are interesting, but it is worth thinking about imports. Especially in terms of analogues of goods from Western manufacturers.
Expert: India and Russia should take serious measures to diversify cooperation
India and Russia should take serious measures to establish, expand and diversify economic cooperation in a short time. This opinion was expressed by Fyodor Lukyanov, Director of Research at the Valdai Club Development Assistance Fund, on the sidelines of a joint meeting with the Vivekananda Foundation.
According to the expert, the current relations between the two countries are characterized mainly by the foundations laid in the past, and new initiatives are moving too slowly.
Lukyanov explained that in this context we are talking about projects that go beyond raw materials and other traditional areas of cooperation. According to Lukyanov, this indicates that the Indian side is also ready to overcome possible difficulties associated with "Western" pressure on this issue.

His unique inspiration and desire for peace, nonviolence and justice have left an indelible mark on the history of mankind.

His philosophy has inspired many other leaders and movements around the world.

This is what the heads of both the organizations had to say on their social platforms:
“In today’s world managing international media relations is an art that could increase the economic, geopolitical, and cultural weight of a country through perception formation. The Memorandum of Understanding we signed is the beginning of what we believe to be a long relationship in which we will learn from each other through cooperative pursuits” – said Dr. Sanjeev Dev Malik director of ANC.
This agreement guarantees exchange of news updates, journalism practices, public relations expertise, and media delegations between both the countries. One of the immediate positive effects would be the increase in business interactions through the collective efforts of DRISP and Asian News Channel.
